This Fall Winter Christopher Bailey named the collection Trench Kisses which contained the signature trench with gold detailing around a cinched waist,  heart, and animal prints. The looks that made their way down the runway to a live choir were very bold. Shirts, skirts, and accessories were covered in gromets. There were also printed pencil skirts with mixed animal prints. All of the looks were paired with kitten heels and a hand held bag or clutch.

A collection I really enjoyed from New York Fashion Week was the Aztec inspired designs from Badgley Mischka. Each look was accompanied by a red lip and slightly messy, yet, elegant up do. I enjoyed the feminine silhouettes and the simple designs. The collection used materials such as, organza, brocade, cashmere, wool, and jersey to name a few. The color palette was very dark minus a few pieces. There were three white gowns and a pencil skirt, three red dresses, a nude gown covered in sequins, and two oyster colored ensembles, while everything else was black, grey, dark green, and dark blue. The collection also used multiple patterns for many looks in the daytime looks.

From the London runways I enjoyed the color coordinated and simple yet structured looks from the designers Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton. The collection was titled Wintergate and was inspired by man-made objects. Looks were mostly metallic, a solid black, and a pop of bright yellow, black with metallic detailing, or off white with metallic detailing. Other looks that I enjoyed were feminine and edgy dresses that had warrior-like caged tops and geometric shapes that were flattering to the body.
